Stephanie Smith is the co-founder and COO of Carpenter Smith Consulting, llc, providing trusted advice and change management to companies needing turn-around expertise, and to executives and individuals who are seeking greater personal and professional success.
For over 11 years, Stephanie has been providing coaching and consultation to local and regional organizations, teams, and individuals helping them to deliver stellar results, create greater impact and influence, and find greater meaning and purpose in both life and work. Stephanie has developed particular expertise in executive coaching, business consultation and transition management and is passionate about helping organizations and individuals translate their visions into effective and successful operations.
Before founding and leading Carpenter Smith Consulting, LLC, Stephanie held leadership roles in non-profits, university research settings, and mental health environments. She has always brought her passion for integrating inspiring leadership and creating effective operations and systems to any role she tackled and became recognized as someone who can get things done and engage others to enthusiastically do the same.
Stephanie loves the opportunity to teach and does so as an executive coach, strategic facilitator, and leadership ally. She has authored and co-authored numerous articles, training models and curriculums in the areas of leadership, parenting, and empowerment in the workplace.
Stephanie has an M.A. in Applied Behavioral Sciences with an emphasis in coaching and consulting to organizations and a B.A. in psychology. Stephanie is a member of the board of directors of My Little Waiting Room. She lives with her family in Portland, Oregon and spends her free time gardening and photographing the majesty of the city.
